Don Chenoweth
CIO
Don has over 45 years of healthcare consulting, hospital/system management and healthcare IT experience including large healthcare hospital/systems, medical school and startup healthcare organizations. Don has founded a number of healthcare IT startup organizations and participated in the sale of two of those organizations. He has extensive experience as the CIO in multiple healthcare provider organizations and a medical school. He also worked as a senior team member in two successful hospital turn-around projects. His areas of expertise include: hospital/system turn-around projects, hospital/system IT operational and strategic planning and CIO management.
Don has lectured at The Wharton School and UCLA Anderson Business School where he helped develop a graduate course in “Healthcare and the Internet”. He received his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering and Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering (Computer Science) from Southern Methodist University and completed the Wharton Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
